I was in Çeşme (Cesme) the previous week and I stayed in town center. I’ll mention it in a bit, but staying in town center meant I had to use some transportation to go to beaches, clubs and popular dinner places. Well I did use lots of Taxi for that! Hence my knowledge on Cesme taxi prices! Frankly it would be cheaper if I preferred using public transports but it was my last summer vacation while I still live in Turkey so I was in princess mode so to speak 🙂
Well thanks to that now I can share this “data” with you, as you are likely to use taxi at least once in a while when in Çeşme and let me give you some prices so you can plan your budget or just compare it in case if you suspect a tourist trap!
So when I say town center, I literally mean center! I booked my hotel from booking.com by selecting Çeşme and putting in distance to center order! But this was my second vacation in İzmir and I deliberately chose to stay in center. Depending on your holiday content you can and should book in nearby places instead of town center. Because if you are here for surfing and beaching all day it maybe better to book a place near beaches or near Alaçatı.
Anyway, here are some prices for you to compare if you chose to use taxi from Çeşme center from and to places:
Cesme taxi prices 2016 summer:
İzmir Airport -Çeşme –>You can haggle a bit and it will be around 120-150 TL. But actually Havaş is a good and cheap alternative. Best alternative would be if you can, arrange a private transportation servis before hand. Actually we used such one with hotel’s suggestion, they transport in luxurious minibus, inside there is wifi and phone charger, good leather seating etc and per person for 35 TL. Well, trick is you are not the only person, there will be couple of other travelers with you but I think that is better.
Çeşme Center -Babylon Beach Taxi prices –> 20-22 TL
Çeşme Center-Sole Mare Beach Taxi prices –> 20-25 TL
Çeşme Center-Dalyan(where seafood restaurants are)–>25-35 TL
Çeşme Center-Alaçatı Port –>60 TL (additionally you can find special services on club exits which will take you to Çeşme center around 70 TL)
Since Alaçatı Port has many restaurants and clubs that you may choose to go I didn’t list them one by one because price shouldn’t change much as many of them are side by side.

PS: Cesme taxi prices listed here were 2016 june prices. Expect increase if you are going there after a year or so. I didn’t include TL to euro or dollar or pound conversions as exchange rates differs a lot.
