Yes you read that right. While having a lounge with swimming pools and 7/24 doctor services with natural lighting seems luxury even for humans and our animal friends will be enjoying their luxury animal terminal while using New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport airport!
Planned to be opened in 2016, this terminal will be first of its kind which is privately owned, USDA approved, offers services 7/24 airport quarantine facility for import and export of horses, pets, birds and livestock.
Name is just what would I give to that project “Ark at JFK” and its supposed to be completed in 178 000 foot square area with a cost of $48 million.
Just have a look at some of the services this place will provide;
*A heaven like place for horses which includes stalls, food and water in animal departure lounge (which I assume they will not depart willingly), this not everything for horses because they also have individual climate-controlled units which are also equipped with bedding and natural lights.
*A veterinary hospital which is not only for emergencies but can also perform surgery and advanced diagnostics.
*A 24-hour Paradise 4 Paws pet resort featuring a bone-shaped dog pool, pet suites with a flat-screen TV option and a jungle gym for cats
• Paradise 4 Paws grooming, obedience training and pet massage therapy
Seriously I don’t even know a premium lounge that offers all of this 🙂
